Rochester 2600 is the local chapter of 2600 The Hacker Quarterly.  We are a meetup for hackers in the area to learn and discuss technology.

If you’ve never been to a 2600 meeting, here’s some information on what to expect.

For those that don’t know what hackers are or have ever heard of the term hacker in a positive context, hackers are those of us that enjoy learning about something, usually technology, and using it to do something beyond its original purpose. Although there are many types including malicious hackers, Rochester 2600 is by no means an illegal or malicious organization.
